I am working on "The Tunes of Red Henry" and it's an album featuring my dad, Red Henry's, original tunes starring many different wonderful mandolin pickers. Here is Rainy Miatke picking "Real Time Reel" along with Matt Combs on fiddle, Uncle John Hedgecoth on banjo, Mike Bub on bass, me on guitar, and special guest, Red Henry on mandola. This was originally recorded on the Red and Murphy & Co. album called "Real Time Reel, released in 1985 (also on YouTube here: youtube.com/watch?v=OVvSEg2h7S8&t=1s). It's a great Monroe influenced tune that's a lot of fun to play and has a wonderful and unusual interval or two. Please feel free to share far and wide!
