Join David Rickwood, site manager at Ausewell and Buckland Woods and our wonderful volunteers as they explain why they are undertaking restoration in our temperate rainforest valley along the Dart Valley.
We are hoping to retain moisture on the steep slopes, to spread the population of the rare Royal Fern, and help native wildlife return. We will replicate these restoration efforts in Buckland Wood to improve the quality of this unique habitat.
