Even though this was technically a rainbow color palette, I love working with darker colors. They make all the other colors more vibrant... especially when you swipe over them with an electric color like turquoise green! It's definitely bold but dark and moody too. In fluid art, a rainbow color palette is one of the most difficult. Secondary colors like orange, green and purple can blend to create a gross, muddy color that can ruin your painting. I 'rescue' any paint that gets spun or tilted off by scraping it off of the table, straining it and saving it to use as a base coat for future pours. Very little waste!
