Some twilight shots of two freight trains after Norfolk Southern has taken control of the ex-NYC properties of Conrail. The crossing gate is an older Western Railroad Supply Co. Model 10 with 8" incandescent lights and mechanical bell. These signals were recently replaced.
Locomotives seen are Conrail 5320 GP38-2 (originally Penn Central, it has since been re-painted as NS 5320), Conrail 5420 SD50, Norfolk Southern 9453 C40-9W and NS 9300 C40-9W.
