Where the old Michigan Central, Pere Marquette (later Chesapeake & Ohio then Chessie System), and Lake Shore & Michigan Southern (later New York Central, then Penn Central, then Conrail) met. This was shot in 1997, and many of the block control and crossing signals have been replaced. Conrail is now Norfolk Southern. Chessie System is now CSX. The CSX siding has been removed. This is basically 15th Street in Chesterton where you may notice the grade crossing is being repaired on the Conrail line (also known as the Water Level Route from its NYC days).
