Raft Racers was a pair of Dinghy Waterslides built by Canadian manufacturer White Water West previously located at Legoland Windsor in Windsor, Berkshire, England, UK.
The ride was originally named Extreme Team Challenge and was new to the park in 1999.[1] It closed in 2022 and was replaced by Minifigure Speedway.[2]

![The Swarm Thorpe Park Back Right 4K POV
Come for a POV video of the ride The Swarm At Night At Thorpe Park. I use my gopro 12 black to record this ride. I have put the links for Thorpe Park website, merlins website as they run all the big theme parks in England ( thrope park, LEGOLAND and Alton towers) and gopro website below. I also will put the address down below of Thorpe Park.
The Swarm is a steel winged roller coaster at Thorpe Park in Chertsey, Surrey, England, UK. Built by Bolliger & Mabillard, the ride is the second design of its kind by the Swiss roller coaster manufacturer, the first being Raptor at Gardaland in Italy, which opened in April 2011. It has a post-apocalyptic theme.
Plans submitted in 2010 to the local council partially revealed the layout of the new roller coaster, its maximum height, and its length.[1]
On 21 April 2011, Thorpe Park released an advertising campaign around the park. Hundreds of posters where flyposted around the park visible to all. These posters exclaimed that The end is coming.. Uncover the truth along with a website LC12.net. The website had a brief description of the possible theme of the ride and also had a countdown until 1 August 2011, when the rides name was revealed to be The Swarm.[2]
The Swarm opened on 15 March 2012.[3] An official single recorded by British band You Me At Six, also titled The Swarm, was released in the same month.[4]
A new billboard fly-through was added to the ride in 2013. The last row of seats was also turned in reverse.[5]
The ride starts with a 38.7 metre lift hill before heading into a dive drop. At the bottom of the drop, riders are subjected to a maximum g-force of 4.5 and a top speed of 95 km/h. The ride then goes into a zero-G roll which is followed by a headchopper element. This the leads into an inclined loop with a banked turn into a corkscrew. The final inversion is an in-line twist over the station. The train then enters the brakes, which are followed by a slow banked turn into the station.

![The Smiler Alton Towers 4K POV
Come for a pov video of the ride The Smiler Alton Towers. I use my gopro 12 black to record this ride. This video was taken in the 2026 season. I have put the links for Alton Towers website, merlins website as they run all the big theme parks in England ( thrope park, LEGOLAND and Chessington World Of Adventures) and gopro website below. I also will put the address down below of Chessington world of adventures.
Plans were submitted for SW7 in late December 2011.[3] Documents were later revealed showing that it was a custom Gerstlauer Infinity Coaster. Planning permission was granted on 15 March 2012, despite opposition from both Alton and Farley Parish councils.
The structure that previously housed the Black Hole was dismantled in April.[4] Ride hardware started arriving in September and vertical construction began on 7 December.[5]
Merlin Entertainments filed a trademark for the name The Smiler in November 2012. In January 2013, an advertising and social media campaign was launched that saw the smiling face logo projected on to various buildings and photographs circulated of the logo spray-painted on the side of sheep. On 20 January, posters appeared in London with The Smiler, and this name was confirmed via a newspaper article the following day.[6]
The ride was originally scheduled to open for the start of the season on 16 March 2013, however due to the ride falling behind schedule the opening was pushed back to May.
The rides track was completed in April 2013 and a new opening date of 23 May was announced.[7] However, the day before the planned opening, Alton Towers announced that due to unforeseen teething problems, the opening had been pushed back again. The Smiler finally opened to the public on 31 May 2013.[5]
Ride experience
The Smiler starts with a small drop out of the station into the first inversion, an enclosed heartline roll. The first chain lift hill follows before heading into a small declined turnaround into a corkscrew, before a drop, followed by the only double dive loop in the world. Riders then reach an airtime hill with trim brakes before entering a double inversion similar to a batwing, except that there is a small banked turn between the two inversions. This is followed by another corkscrew. This then leads into a declined magnetic brake run that leads into the vertical lift hill. The ride continues at the top with a small declined turnaround, this time to the left, but this, same as last time, leads into a corkscrew, followed by a drop. Then riders enter a sea serpent followed by another airtime hill and subsequently a cobra roll. The cobra roll and the batwing combined are dubbed the Staffordshire Knot.[6] Riders then traverse a double corkscrew before reaching the final brake run.

![Vampire Chessington World Of Adventure 4k POV
Come for a pov video of the ride vampire at Chessington World Of Adventures. I use my gopro 12 black to record this ride. I have put the links for chessington world of adventures website, merlins website as they run all the big theme parks in England ( thrope park, LEGOLAND and Alton towers) and gopro website below. The ride station is heavily themed as a very gothic abbey, using dim lighting and dramatic music. The queue line passes through a graveyard, before heading through a crypt and dark corridor which leads to the loading platform. Of particular note is the animatronic organist within the station which plays a large pipe organ along to the theme music close to entering the graveyard themed area.
As Vampire showed its age, it suffered from numerous breakdowns and maintenance problems. At this point, the rides manufacturer, Arrow Dynamics, had gone bankrupt, meaning little could be done to rectify these issues. The Vampire had to close for the latter half of the 2000 season, and at this time it was thought to be permanent. However, instead of being removed, the decision was made to modify the ride, and also add excitement with brand new floorless trains built by Vekoma.[citation needed]
A few changes to the track were made, but nothing major, as this would require planning permission (which was unlikely to be granted). The trains were replaced with new Vekoma trains, which are nearly identical to the ones seen on their Suspended Family Coaster model. Also, certain parts of the supports were removed, to allow for a larger clearance envelope because of the new trains. The modified ride reopened in 2002, with the current trains still operating today. They provide a totally different riding experience.[citation needed]
Trains
3 trains with 12 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in a single row, for a total of 24 riders per train.
Manufactured by Vekoma.

![Looping Star Clacton Pier 4K POV
Come for a pov video of the Looping Star. I use My DJI Osmo Action 6 to record this ride
Looping Star is a steel roller coaster located on Clacton Pier in Clacton-on-sea, Essex, England, UK. It was one of the last Zyklon ZL42 roller coasters produced by Italian company Pinfari.
The Looping Star was opened in 1999,[1] before the building it now sits on existed.[2] Shortly after, it was moved to allow the building to be built. It was then moved back to its original location by 2003 and the Crazy Train was erected where the Looping Star was.
Following the 2019 season, the roller coaster was dismantled and sent to Clacton Pier.[3] An extension to the pier, built to accommodate the roller coaster, collapsed on 14 February 2020 which led the park to push the opening back to 2021.[4] It opened on 23 October 2021.[5]
The spot where Looping Star stood previously at Codonas is now occupied by Apple Coaster.
Looping Star has two stations, two trains and a vertical loop.
