Come for a pov video of the ride vampire at Chessington World Of Adventures. I use my gopro 12 black to record this ride. I have put the links for chessington world of adventures website, merlin's website as they run all the big theme parks in England ( thrope park, LEGOLAND and Alton towers) and gopro website below. I also will put the address down below of chessington world of adventures.
The ride station is heavily themed as a very gothic abbey, using dim lighting and dramatic music. The queue line passes through a graveyard, before heading through a crypt and dark corridor which leads to the loading platform. Of particular note is the animatronic organist within the station which 'plays' a large pipe organ along to the theme music close to entering the graveyard themed area.
As Vampire showed its age, it suffered from numerous breakdowns and maintenance problems. At this point, the ride's manufacturer, Arrow Dynamics, had gone bankrupt, meaning little could be done to rectify these issues. The Vampire had to close for the latter half of the 2000 season, and at this time it was thought to be permanent. However, instead of being removed, the decision was made to modify the ride, and also add excitement with brand new floorless trains built by Vekoma.[citation needed]
A few changes to the track were made, but nothing major, as this would require planning permission (which was unlikely to be granted). The trains were replaced with new Vekoma trains, which are nearly identical to the ones seen on their Suspended Family Coaster model. Also, certain parts of the supports were removed, to allow for a larger clearance envelope because of the new trains. The modified ride reopened in 2002, with the current trains still operating today. They provide a totally different riding experience.[citation needed]
Trains
3 trains with 12 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in a single row, for a total of 24 riders per train.
Manufactured by Vekoma.

![Looping Star Clacton Pier 4K POV
Come for a pov video of the Looping Star. I use My DJI Osmo Action 6 to record this ride
Looping Star is a steel roller coaster located on Clacton Pier in Clacton-on-sea, Essex, England, UK. It was one of the last Zyklon ZL42 roller coasters produced by Italian company Pinfari.
The Looping Star was opened in 1999,[1] before the building it now sits on existed.[2] Shortly after, it was moved to allow the building to be built. It was then moved back to its original location by 2003 and the Crazy Train was erected where the Looping Star was.
Following the 2019 season, the roller coaster was dismantled and sent to Clacton Pier.[3] An extension to the pier, built to accommodate the roller coaster, collapsed on 14 February 2020 which led the park to push the opening back to 2021.[4] It opened on 23 October 2021.[5]
The spot where Looping Star stood previously at Codonas is now occupied by Apple Coaster.
Looping Star has two stations, two trains and a vertical loop.

Come for a pov video of the ride Archelon at Adventure Island. I use My DJI Osmom Action 6 to record this ride. I have put the links for Adventure Island and Dji.
Archelon is a Waveswinger built by German manufacturer Zierer currently located at Adventure Island in Southend On Sea, Essex, England, UK. It was new to the park in 1997.[1]
Archelon is a species of extinct sea turtles which existed 80 million years ago.

![Wicker man Alton Towers 4K POV
Come for a pov video of the ride Wicker Man Alton Towers. I use my gopro 12 black to record this ride. This video was taken in the 2026 season. I have put the links for Alton Towers website, merlins website as they run all the big theme parks in England ( thrope park, LEGOLAND and Chessington World Of Adventures) and gopro website below. I also will put the address down below of Chessington world of adventures.
In the early 2000s, Alton Towers applied for planning permission to build a new wooden roller coaster. This was never built due to complaints from the public regarding noise pollution and environmental damage.[2]
The Flume closed on 10 October 2015. While not revealed at the time, it would later be replaced by Wicker Man.
In March 2016, the park began teasing the ride to the public through its Towers Loving Care Twitter page.[3] On 31 May 2016, Alton Towers filed for planning permission to build Wicker Man on the site of The Flume. The plans revealed that the ride would be a wooden roller coaster, and sound comparisons hinted at the ride being manufactured by Great Coasters International. The application was approved on 24 August 2016 and in December, demolition of the Flume began.
On 7 May 2017, wood arrived at Alton Towers. This followed the arrival of GCI earlier in May.
On 21 May 2017, vertical construction of the rides station track and pre-lift section began.
On 30 May 2017, vertical construction of the rides large theming element began.
In June 2017, vertical construction of the station began.
On 27 June 2017, vertical construction of the rides lift hill began.
In July 2017, construction on the rest of the ride began with the installation of part of the first drop.
On 7 July 2017, the rides lift hill reached its full height. This was commemorated by the British and American flags being placed on top of the lift hill, representing the two countries involved with the project.
On 16 August 2017, Alton Towers began a new marketing campaign for the ride. This marketing campaign involved the tagline Be Chosen, some Pagan-esque runes being placed on the construction fences surrounding the ride which apparently also translate to Be Chosen and the first in a series of videos marketing the ride. The second of these videos feature YouTuber Elliott Crawford and was released on 23 August 2017. The ride is also currently being marketed as a world class experience by the park.
In early September 2017, Alton Towers announced a new scare maze for the parks Scarefest event called The Welcoming. The Welcoming was heavily linked with Wicker Man.
On 6 October 2017, Alton Towers introduced a new logo depicting a burning wicker man into the rides marketing. Also, the SW8 minisite started redirecting people to TheWelcoming.co.uk, where people were given more of an insight into the rides story and the scare maze, including the introduction of another slogan; Feed The Flames.
On 22 October 2017, the park released another teaser featuring Elliott Crawford. This teaser featured runes teasing parts of the rides storyline.
By the end of the parks 2017 season on 5 November 2017, the rides queue line was being erected and most of the ride had the wooden track installed and was only awaiting the installation of the steel rails. Also, the exterior of the station and maintenance shed was mostly complete.
In late November 2017, Alton Towers released a partial time lapse video of the rides construction. This was followed by a teaser on November 22 entitled Unite with the chosen ones.
On 9 December 2017, the European Coaster Club and multiple other sources reported that the ride made its first test run on 7 December 2017.
On 22 December 2017, Alton Towers sent out planks of wood to the media with the rides logo on reading All will be revealed 8-1-18, confirming an announcement on 8 January 2018. Alton Towers subsequently announced that the ride would be named Wicker Man and that it would be the worlds first roller coaster experience to fuse wood and fire.[4] However, this claim was later removed from the marketing campaign reportedly following a claim to the Advertising Standards Agency.
The roller coaster was planned to open on 17 March 2018, but due to poor weather, this was pushed back to 24 March.[5] However, the ride actually opened on 20 March.
