When New York is constantly shaping us, Scripture becomes one of the most steady and formative practices of our faith.
In this video, Dan from our church shares how daily engagement with God’s Word became the most effective way for him to resist being conformed to New York City and instead be formed into the likeness of Jesus.
He also reflects on how he began using SOAPS (Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer, and Share) a simple framework he learned in a discipleship cohort. What began as a personal rhythm of reading Scripture became a way to faithfully share what he was learning with those he was discipling.
We are excited for our entire church to experience this kind of growth together. Learn more about the SOAPS and the Summer Bible Reading Plan at church.nyc/bible.
