Todd Perley | Rachmaninoff: Scherzo, Op. 11, No. 2 - Duet for Four Hands @marquisdd | Uploaded January 2009 | Updated October 2024, 20 minutes ago.
This is a four-handed duet that I recorded using a Roland KR-15. I played both parts of this duet by myself in this manner: first I recorded the "Secondo" section on one track, then played it back recording the "Primo" hands over them. This redefines the concept of "playing with yourself."
Obviously I couldn't video tape this performance since I needed to be in two places at once — a handy skill to have, but I don't have it.
