This is a bit of a departure from the rollicking good times of Zez's novelty piano opus, and shows his classical upbringing. In particular, these three pieces seem to me directly influenced by Claude Debussy, still quite the rage in the early 20th century.
Each of these little pieces is heartachingly beautiful. I hope you think so too.
