This May, two watches and one necklace from the personal collection of Quincy Jones highlight the Rare Watches sale in Geneva.
Leading the trio is a Patek Philippe Nautilus Ref. 3700/1JA, one of the most iconic designs of the 20th century. Made in 1981 and worn by Quincy Jones for over four decades, it coincides with a defining moment in his career, on the cusp of producing ’Thriller’.
Alongside it, a Girard-Perregaux World Time Control Shadow, presented to Jones by Andrea Bocelli in recognition of his international charitable work, and a gold and diamond pendant gifted by Bono to mark his 80th birthday.
Each piece marks a moment in music, in generosity and in a life of lasting cultural influence.
