For Earth Month 2026, the National Geographic Society and Christie’s came together to explore how art and visual storytelling shape perception, construct cultural value, and drive meaningful environmental impact.

Featuring Vanessa Serrao, Vice President of the Impact Story Lab at the National Geographic Society; Darius Himes, Deputy Chairman and International Head of Photographs at Christie’s; and moderated by Caroline Maxwell, Creative Producer and Co-Chair of Christie’s Green Team, the conversation brought together perspectives across art, science, and storytelling.
