Nancy Mahoney joins Kelly in remixing Album Star by Sherril Harris. Kelly flipped the middle of the original block out to the outside; removed the cornerstones; made the blocks interlock; and used flannels, cross-weaves, and linens with her quilting cottons. Nancy made the blocks bigger, simplified them, and used modern novelty prints in her variation.
