Regular speed video (feel free to speed up if you are in a hurry).

Early testing to make a worm gear shaft. If everything works out, there will be a much longer and more in-depth video using this in the project.

The wood is just a cheap old 2x2. For a "real" project, it will be a better hardwood like maple.

There was a manual change to the gcode: after cutting the thread, I manually put in a line to move the bit away from the dowel before raising up.
