A few tips for PoP.
1. The bottom 3 ship effects(lifeboat/glasses/fortune) never run out so use them as soon as you get them.
2. Ship effect items(wind/rations/powder/cry) cap at 3 - It's a good idea not to use those items so you can get more voyage/captain/adventurer/crew rerolls.
3. Failed voyages still count for distance but you risk resources/crew
4. Story voyages give no distance

A lot of people have been asking me for advice on PoP so hopefully this helps a bit.
In short, you want the highest chance of success on each voyage. Since you easily have enough time to do voyages one at a time, you should do that so you can also get the best chance of success for each voyage. If your voyage has a very high percent of success you should try to bring the ardy merchant so you get extra resources.")
