A lot of people have been asking me for advice on PoP so hopefully this helps a bit.
In short, you want the highest chance of success on each voyage. Since you easily have enough time to do voyages one at a time, you should do that so you can also get the best chance of success for each voyage. If your voyage has a very high percent of success you should try to bring the ardy merchant so you get extra resources.
