Just a quick video on two forms of tinder for flint and steel. My favorite charred non-cloth tinder is charred punkwood from a dry rotted cotton wood tree. The other method is using a Inonotus munzii fungus. The fungus does not need to be charred and takes a spark very well. Much thanks to Tom Wax for sharing this method with me.
