I, I have made fire! And I thought my first coal from a bowdrill was satisfying. The blisters on my hands had just barely healed when I got ahold of this Yucca spindle and heart. Truth be told these were the 3nd and 4rd coals I've made, but I didn't have my camera for the first couple. I am truly shocked by how easy this method is with the Yucca. Now to achieve success with more stubborn types of wood.
