LauraMixedMedia | Quick Finishes - Journaling with What's on My Desk @LauraMixedMedia | Uploaded March 2024 | Updated October 2024, 6 hours ago.
Recently I was going out of town for the weekend, but I really wanted to get a project done before I left. I had about 30-45 mins to start and finish what I wanted to work on, so I sat down at my desk and started playing with what was in arms reach. I had a piece of collage tissue, some cut up transparencies, some stamps, and a couple colors of paint. It ended up being one of my most favorite play sessions, and I felt really accomplished and happy with what I created.
So, I decided to try the same thing in my journal. I had a few pages that were already started, and I wanted to fill them up and check the journal off as full. So I sat down and played with what was still on my desk.
I hope you enjoy the process, and that it inspires you to do something similar!
