As promised, here is a walkthrough of how I make my journals. I am by no means a journal making master (as you will clearly see in the video, lol!). But, I think it's fun to make and create in your own book that I made myself.
The binding method I use is called the pamphlet stitch. The first signature in this journal I kind of messed it up a little, but it went much smoother in the second signature. Here are the steps:
1. In through the middle hole.
2. Out through the top hole.
3. In through the bottom hole.
4. Out through the middle hole.
You'll see in the video that I make the holes before I stitch, but you really don't have to as long as you have a strong needle.
In Part Two I will be painting the cover of the journal.

I hope you enjoy the process and feel empowered to make your own journals. If I can do it, believe me so can you!
Let me know if you have any questions!
