Just a quick clip for #DOScember2022, to demonstrate running Windows 1.01, released in November 1985, on my desktop PC. I had to use DOSBox since that early version of Windows won't run on a 64-bit machine. To stay with the retro theme, I did run it off of a 3.5 inch floppy. The few YouTube videos I've seen running Windows 1.01 on DOSBox always use a disk image, but I wanted to go a bit more old-school so I figured out what you have to do. Windows 1.01 offered a cooperative multitasking operating system, though otherwise it is a bit primitive.
