Disciplinary Core Idea:
ESS1.A: The Universe and its Stars - Patterns of the motion of the sun, moon, and stars in the sky can be observed, described, and predicted. (1-ESS1-1)
Performance Expectation:
1-ESS1-1 Use observations of the sun, moon, and stars to describe patterns that can be predicted.
Standards:
NGSS: LS4.A: Evidence of Common Ancestry and Diversity - Some kinds of plants and animals that once lived on Earth are no longer found anywhere. (3-LS4-1). Fossils provide evidence about the types of organisms that lived long ago and also about the nature of their environments.(3-LS4-1)
