Welcome back to the Quest Selector series!
In Part 1, we designed the system and created the structures needed to safely jump between quests without breaking progression.
Now it's time to build the actual Quest Selector UI.
Players will be able to browse available quests and instantly jump to specific points within the game, making this system useful for both players and developers.
π§ What We Cover:
β Creating the Quest Selector UI
β Displaying available quests
β Reading quest data structures
β Selecting quest entries
β Triggering quest jumps
β Connecting UI to gameplay systems
β Preparing the system for expansion
This type of tool is incredibly useful for:
β’ Quest-heavy RPGs
β’ Testing game content
β’ QA workflows
β’ Story-driven games
β’ Developer cheat menus
By the end of this episode, you'll have a fully functional Quest Selection screen integrated into your project.
