0) run from Al Kharid east following the path up the giants plateau
SW of it is the quest start

1) Strike the Giant to talk to Kovac 1
Triggers a 1 minute cutscene
Put your phone on the keyboard to press space
We are first going to fix all the machinery in the foundry and then do the smithing minigame once

2) SW fix the polishing wheel 1

3) W fix grindstone 1

4) NW fix triphammer 1

5) Talk to Kovac to make your first giant’s sword fade to black

6) Talk to Kovac again you make a flat broad sword

7) Drop your hammer and chisel if you do not have 21 inventory slots
search the crate next to Kovac for some metals
search the pile of buckets west if you have not brought a bucket of water or ice gloves
fill your bucket with water

8) Behind Kovac is a big metal bucket click on it twice and deposit all the bronze and iron bars next use the weapons and platebodies on it and deposit them too

9) Talk to Kovac
set up the mould next to him
first tab is the forte select the flattest and broadest
second tab is the blade
3rd is the tap
bottom left you can check your flatness and broadness
set the mould


10) Talk to Kovac and he’ll check it out
pour the crucible into the mould
pour bucket of water over the mould
pick up the sword

11) Go NW and wait until your top red bar has a white outline
Use the Trip hammer until it almost reaches yellow
This should be around 8 hits with the hammer
Go NE and rightclick on the lava DUNK preform
until red bar is almost at the end as it must still have a white outline
Use trip hammer again until your bottom bar reaches yellow

12) Go to the waterfall and quench the preform until the sword’s temperature is almost yellow
use the grindstone and waterfall until the sword is almost complete

13) Quench the presform until it is high green
SW use the polishing wheel
Dunk it in the lava one last time until the temperature is high green again
polish it one last time to complete your quest

14) Talk to Kovac
the sword commission is for his friend Obor
