Gregory Louis was shot and killed outside of 2408 in East St Louis, Illinois on May 28th, 2020. He died the following day. To this day, Gregory's murder remains unsolved and tonight we interview his mother who hopes telling Gregory's story will finally cause someone with information to come forward. Before the interview, Latatia wrote this about her son:
"Gregory was born April 15 1989 in Savannah, Ga. He is our youngest son. He has 3 siblings. We moved to East Saint Louis Illinois in 2002. Gregory has 5 children ranging in the age group 4-12years old 3 daughters and 2 sons. Myself and my husband Paul currently have guardianship of 2 of his children their mother is also deceased she died in 2010. Gregory was an amazing, awesome, son, father and sibling. He loved his family more than life itself. We are a very close knit family. We are from the South and truly believe in family. Our children were raised to always stick together because one day we would die and they would be all that they have left. Gregory was so full of life and had plenty of dreams & goals in life. Gregory was known for his huge smile enormous heart and always helping people in need. His main dream was to become a famous rapper since early childhood. He passion was writing, recording, producing and promoting his record label GMF 1504. He was an entrepreneur. Also he worked as a line assembly at a plant. His hobbies were spend family time, creating music, and playing basketball."
