On August 17th, 1996, at around 6pm, 65 year old Jack L Robinson, a retired veteran of the Air Force who had served 25 years, drove from his apartment to the Rosewood Boat Landing in Columbia, SC.
The boat ramp was in a quiet, isolated area surrounded by forest along the Congaree river, used by the few who knew of it to relax and have picnics. But what would happen that day would change what the area was known for forever.
3 witnesses saw Jack talking to a man who they described as seeming like either an acquaitance, or possibly even a friend. Jack and the man walked out of the parking lot and into a clearing.
Shortly after, Jack was heard yelling, "What is it that you want?" and making offers of money, followed by a loud scream. His assailant would flee on foot and Jack would stumble out of the woods, clutching stab wounds on his stomach.
Witnesses called 911 and Jack was rushed to the hospital. WIthin 3 hours, he would be dead. But, over 25 years later, the man who took his life still hasn't been identified.
This is the story of Jack L Robinson.

![MISSING: Andrew Gosden (Interview with father Kevin Gosden)
On the morning of his disappearance, Gosden had difficulty waking up and seemed particularly irritable.[7] His mother has stated that this was unusual as he was normally awake on time.
At 8:05 am Gosden left his house and was witnessed walking across the local park (Westfield) to his usual bus stop by family friend Rev. Alan Murray who was sitting on a bench in the park.[27][28] Instead of taking the school bus, Gosden diverted from his usual route and walked to a cash machine at a local garage.[12][29] Here he withdrew ÂŁ200 from his bank account which was almost all of his money - he had ÂŁ214 in the account, but the ATM would only allow withdrawals of ÂŁ20 notes[30].[31][32] Gosden was then captured on a neighbours CCTV system returning home.[33] At home, he placed his uniform in the washing machine and his blazer on the back of his chair. He then changed into casual clothes, consisting of a black Slipknot T-shirt and black jeans, and took a bag embellished with various patches of rock and metal bands. He also took his wallet, keys, and a PlayStation Portable console. No other possessions were identified as missing. It was quickly established that he had not taken his passport with him.[34] Andrews father stated that his son did not appear to have taken a sweatshirt or coat with him, and had also not taken the charger for his PSP.[35] Gosden also left around ÂŁ100 in cash that he had saved up from birthdays.
At 8:30, Gosden departed from the house and was seen heading down Littlemoor Lane, towards Westfield Park on a neighbours CCTV. He then walked to Doncaster railway station and purchased a one-way ticket to London. The ticket seller later recalled that she had told Gosden that a return ticket cost just 50p or ÂŁ1 more but he insisted on purchasing a single ticket.[37]
At 9:35 Gosden was witnessed boarding the train to Kings Cross station alone. One woman reported sitting next to Gosden, whom she described as being quiet and engrossed in playing his video game console.[29] When Gosden failed to attend morning lessons at his school his teachers tried to contact his parents.[7] The school believed that they had called Gosdenâs parents and left a message informing them that he had not attended school, however, the school dialled the number of the parents either above or below Gosden in the register and the message was left for the wrong person.
At 11:20 Gosden arrived at Kingâs Cross station and was captured on CCTV leaving the main entrance of the station at 11:25 am.[11] This was the last confirmed sighting of him. (All of the above is pulled from Wikipedia. Credit goes to them and is not my info)
