Our vision for reconciliation is a society free of racism and prejudice, connected by stories of truth.

We are proud to share this vision within our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan. Talented Gooreng Gooreng/Taribelang artist Dylan Sarra joined us to create the featured artwork which was inspired by one such story of truth about the Burnett River rocks from Central Queensland.

QM honours the living cultures of First Nations people, every day in our scientific and cultural research, collection management activities, exhibitions, public programs and major events.
