![Grand Hyatt SFO Hotel Tour: Room, Gym, and Grand Club Review
Your Questions About Our SFO Hotel Stay!
Q: Why did you decide to stay at the Grand Hyatt SFO? A: Oh, I just had a really early flight the next morning and I honestly didnt want to rush to the airport [00:02]. I figured Id just take an Uber the night before and sleep right there [00:07].
Q: How do you get to the hotel from the airport? Is it easy? A: Its super convenient! If youre landing at SFO, you can get directly to the hotel using the AirTrain [00:30]. The front desk is on the fourth floor, which is just one escalator level down from the AirTrain terminal [00:22].
Q: What was the room like? A: I show a little peek at it! We checked in late and got a room with two queen beds [00:52]. It had a pretty neat view of the airport and the freeway [00:58]. I also thought it was nice that they seemed to put different types of pillows on the bed, to give you some options [01:29].
Q: You mentioned the Grand Club. Whats that? A: Its the hotels lounge. If your room gives you access, you can get in 24/7 with your key card [01:37]. It was really handy for me—I was able to pop in and grab some sodas and snacks for my kid [01:44].
Q: Do they serve a full meal in the Grand Club? A: They dont have hot food in the club itself, but the big perk is that if you have club access, you get a free breakfast down at the main restaurant [01:57].
Q: What about the price? Is it a good deal? A: The cash rate, I think, starts around $250 or so [00:07]. For me, I found that using points was a much better value, especially when I compared it to the Hyatt House nearby [00:16].
SUMMARY
Having an early flight the next morning, I decided to take an Uber the night before and stay at the Grand Hyatt SFO to avoid any rushing. The convenience is amazing—you can get directly from the AirTrain terminal right to the hotel lobby, which Ill show you. Join me for a complete tour of our two-queen-bed room, which had a really fascinating view of the airport and the freeway. Ill also give you a peek at the 24-hour gym, which is great for catching a workout no matter when you fly.
One of the biggest perks I wanted to check out was the Grand Club. Ill take you inside to see the 24-hour access, which was perfect for grabbing some sodas and snacks. The most important tip, though, is that while the club itself doesnt serve hot food, having access gets you a free breakfast at the main restaurant. Ill also quickly go over the value, comparing the cash rate (which starts around $250) to booking with points, which I found to be a much better deal than other nearby options.

Overview
Looking for the perfect hotel near Fresno Yosemite International Airport or a convenient stop before your Sequoia National Park adventure? In this video, I review the brand-new Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fresno Airport, which had only been open for two weeks when I filmed this!
Whether youre flying in or just planning a road trip, this hotel is an excellent choice. It’s a quick 4-minute drive from the airport and offers a complimentary shuttle service for drop-offs and pick-ups, so you dont need a rental car immediately.
If you’re driving an EV, youll appreciate the multiple charging stations on-site. Families will love the relaxing pool, which is perfect for letting the kids unwind while you finalize your travel plans.
I’ll also give you a full tour of my room, which featured two comfortable queen beds. Free breakfast is included, and you have to try the cinnamon rolls—the host recommended them, and they were one of my favorites!
For dining, I recommend two nearby spots:
Sizzler: Its not just a classic salad bar anymore! Sizzler revamped its vibe in 2020, and I was genuinely impressed with the quality of the steaks and all the new salad bar options.
Ono Hawaiian BBQ: This is a great spot for a quick and delicious meal.
Need to stock up on supplies before heading to the park? There’s a Walmart Supercenter nearby for all your last-minute needs. While theres a local market in Three Rivers, Walmart usually has more choices and better prices.
