In today's video, Dylan will show you how to wire, include (Z-Wave), and program a Zooz ZEN16 MultiRelay with a Qolsys IQ Panel 4. The Zooz ZEN16 is a suitable replacement for the Fortrezz MIMOLite, which has been discontinued. A big difference between the MIMOLite and the ZEN16 is that the MIMOLite was a Form C relay that could be wired as Normally Open or Normally Closed. The ZEN16 is a Normally Open relay that closes or provides a short when activated. This is referred to as Form B.

Our examples in this video show the wiring and programming commonly used when adding a siren or strobe to the system. Most all-in-one alarm systems have either a low-current siren output or no siren output. For users replacing a wired system with a modern all-in-one system, where a high-current wired siren is already in place, adding a relay and a power supply will allow the existing siren to be used.
The examples in this video show the bare minimum rule programming necessary to use the Zooz ZEN16 MultiRelay to activate a siren on the system.
