Python was an Arrow Corkscrew model and the first roller coaster built at Busch Gardens Tampa. It opened July 1, 1976 and closed October 31, 2006., thrilling riders for 30 years. Python also has the distinction of being the first roller coaster to feature an inversion not only in the state of Florida, but in all the former Busch Entertainment Corporation theme parks. Today, parts of Jungala sit where Python once was.
