How does Python perform on the new M1 Mac compared to the Intel mac? For this I evaluate functionality, package support, and speed. When evaluating functionality and package support on the M1 mac I use python running through rosetta (as packages are fully supported through this). When evaluating speed I also include tests for python running natively on the M1 chip (this version doesn't fully support packages yet)
