I did this: youtube.com/watch?v=oFspaqYZsDk 5 years ago, but the title is wrong. It is not depolymerisation but pyrolysis or cracking. The yield from PP pyrolysis is less with a spirit burner, but with a mini Bunsen there is enough gas to burn and carry out tests. There is not a lot of evidence for double bonds. The final slide shows the many products of pyrolysis.
