Meet Doc, the Keykeeper's 2006 Ford F550 farm equipment maintenance truck.
Neither the Keykeeper nor I have ever driven a vehicle faster than it would go, though he may have gotten close with this one. Was it a good deal, or the vehicle that made Carfax run out of paper? It's had a lot of work already and clearly needs plenty more, since it still runs and drives.
The instrument cluster has a built in self test, including a gauge sweep. All gauges are working. We believe the input to the speedometer has an issue. The radio and ABS remain to be fully diagnosed. There has been a wiring wizard at work in this truck. We are gradually undoing their “repairs”.
Yes, the green lemon still exists. I predict it will be repaired and on the road again exactly 67 years from now. (The engine is back together. It's mainly a matter of getting all the wiring hooked up.)
