Microprose, makers of PC flight simulators, toss their hat into the ring with... a flight sim, of course! Maybe that can work, with some adjustments for the arcade market... so how did they approach this? By treating players as their own personal ATM's, of course. You need more fuel! NES Shinobis kind of a mess, pretty easy to get through if you can beat the awful 2nd boss that apparently pushed the hardware to its limits. Damageless stuff was annoying but it didnt take too long.
Sky Shark... I hadnt heard much about but holy shit what a ridiculous port. Gigantic hitboxes, wide-ass screen, you have to stop firing shots just to be able to use a bomb... it was very frustrating")

Somehow I hadnt played the Mega CD version of Ninjawarriors for RA yet, so I had to rectify that! Obviously not an arcade perfect port but its playable enough... or at least it feels that way compared to the PC Engine version. Yeesh, that game is rough. That blue ninja on stage 5 can go to hell. Did not finish the game on Hard difficulty, Ill come back to this...")

The RA set for Streets of Rage 2 got a major overhaul so it seemed like a good excuse to play SOR2 again. Had to go through the game with all 4 characters, of course Normal was no problem. Managed to get the 1CC on Hardest with Axel which I fucked up last time. As for Mania... um... I have to learn some more specific strats before Im ready for that again")
