I first saw these shoes featured on Edd Bud's channel, and was intrigued. He was reviewing a colourway which looked a lot like Optimus Prime, which was so ugly it was awesome. Unfortunately I couldn't get that colour when buying mine, but I'm perfectly happy with this light yellowish look.
So yeah, these shoes are a lightweight offering from Puma, with a TPU plate in (and actually sort of above) the midsole. I definitely felt like they gave me tons of energy return. But how will I use them moving forward, and what are my overall thoughts after the first run? Well you'll just have to watch the video and find out.
I mis-stated some of the specs in the video, but I'm actually completely baffled by what the Puma website is showing. They say the shoe is 8.6 ounces (243g) for a men's size 9, and that it has a 12mm drop. Really feels way lighter than that, and also feels more like a 6mm drop.

So who am I?
Just a 38-year-old guy living in Atlantic Canada, trying my best to be an example of how easy and normal it is to be vegan. Hopefully I can inspire others to think of the animals and the planet in their daily decisions, and well if you're into fitness I also run a bit and share it here. So yeah, I guess that's it. I like food, cats, music, and being outside. My gf Jamie is pretty awesome too :)
