Psychedelic Trips To Death, a trio from Thessaloniki, Greece, was born out of the noise of The Jesus And Mary Chain
and the darkness of Joy Division. The band started playing live around 2010. In the beginning of 2014 the drummer left the group and a keyboardist joined, thus creating a new dynamic in the sound of PTTD. The first offering of the new line-up is the EP Love 'n' Death that was released on May 2014 on limited edition tape and digital format as well. The experience of a live performance by PTTD is really something that cannot be described with words. Given the opportunity, everyone should attend one of their concerts.
Here's "Die To Love", the fourth track of the EP, which pretty much sums up what PTTD are all about sonically. Listen to it LOUD.-
