We are called as believers to Trust in the Lord and to Keep Our Focus On HIM! When we look to the world and those of it we will find that there are many things to envy and grow jealous of. When we take our eyes and minds off of God and what He is doing in our lives the enemy has already gained a victory. From that breach in our defense, we will be infiltrated with the thoughts, cares, and concerns of the world. Our enemy will try to show us how he can use the world to bless those around us in order to make us covet what others are doing and what they have. God is Our Shield, not just to guard us against attacks outwardly, but to defend us from the ones that arise from within! When you keep your focus on God being content in patiently waiting for His Blessing in Your Life, you will find that HE WILL ARISE and SAVE YOU! Cry out to God rather than complain about your situation. Have an attitude of gratitude and thanksgiving and watch the Almighty respond more powerfully and more quickly! You will also find more peace in realizing you have much to be grateful for! No Matter who or what arises against you God is Our Shield and the Good Shepherd Fights For His Sheep! He Loves You Dearly and that should be more than enough to satisfy your soul!

Psalm 3
A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son.
1 Lord, how are they increased that trouble me!
many are they that rise up against me.
2 Many there be which say of my soul,
There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3 But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me;
my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
4 I cried unto the Lord with my voice,
and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
5 I laid me down and slept;
I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people,
that have set themselves against me round about.
7 Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God:
for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone;
thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 Salvation belongeth unto the Lord:
thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
