Looking into the affairs and condition of this world and the people of it can be quite disheartening and disconcerting. The closer we get to God the more the world seems to be hopeless. That is because it's true. Without God, there is no hope for the world or the people of it. The more we see the world embracing the worldly the more we know that our redemption draws near. We must suffer for a short time when compared to eternity because the Grace of God is extended in the process. Soon the offering of Mercy will no longer be an option for the lost souls of this world, which is a vast majority of those in it! We as believers are called to endure hardness as the good soldiers we are. I say, endure my fellow soldiers, endure to the very end! We have a blessed hope and an assurance of what is in store for us and this should be a motivating force multiplier! Think of those that are lost in self-assurance and those with false hope. Pray for those pitiful souls. When we all meet our Maker they will be without excuse. God's Word is Tried and True, Faithful and True, Gracious and Just. We can Trust in God's Word and this is why we are called to have compassion! When you look to the world know one thing... the world is condemned and Justice is coming! While we wait for that Justice to be executed pray for those on the wrong side of God's wrath. It's not His Will that ANY should perish but that ALL SHOULD COME TO EVERLASTING LIFE! Pray for God to soften hardened hearts. Pray for His Will to Be DONE and for the Salvation of Jesus Christ, Our Lord, to be instilled and increased within the lost. Remember, we are only IN this world for a short instance of what is compared with ALL ETERNITY and we are surely no longer OF THE WORLD. We are pilgrims, strangers sojourning through, and alienated from our Home. It will be time to go Home soon enough for us but think of the home waiting for those that reject the Place Jesus has gone to prepare for them that would but just humble themselves to the Living God. HELP THEM, FATHER, TO COME TO YOUR TRUTH. HELP THEM IN THEIR UNBELIEF. HELP THEM IN THEIR REBELLION AS YOU HELPED CALL AND DRAW ALL OF US THAT BELIEVE. HELP THEM TO BELIEVE IN YOUR GRACE AND MERCY. HELP THEM COME TO YOUR SON FOR HIS SAVING GRACE. HELP THEM KNOW THAT YOU ARE THE LORD THEIR GOD! HELP US TO ENDURE WITH THE PATIENCE OF THE SAINTS AND THE PEACE OF OUR SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST! AMEN & AMEN!
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
