We were all born into a spiritual war of good vs. evil. Unless we are Born Again by faith in Jesus Christ we will be on the losing team by de facto. This war already has victory for the Conquering King and Kinsman Redeemer but there are many hard-fought battles yet to come. We are all in the very midst of one now as I type this up. Most of us have battles every day internally and externally. We are oftentimes our own worst enemy but we also have a spiritual enemy. Sin which operates in and through our flesh and the spiritual rebels against The Living God that attack from a dimension hardly perceivable to us. When we become born again we are reborn on the battlefield as babes in Christ. It takes nurturing up in the sincere milk of the Word of God to get mature. We can't eat meat without teeth and we sure can't digest it without the spiritual intestinal fortitude!
This Psalm is OUR WAR CRY! God Will train us up in His ways since we are sons and daughters of the Most High God! He will prepare us for the battle and instruct us in His ways if we diligently seek Him. He assures us closeness if we draw near to Him, protection if we hide ourselves inside of Him, and Complete Victory as More Than Conquerors in Jesus Christ if we Surrender to Him and His Will. The world would tell you, "No Retreat, No Surrender!" But Verily Verily I TELL YOU there can be no Victory without ABSOLUTE RETREAT AND ABSOLUTE SURRENDER! HE IS OUR RETREAT and OUR REFUGE! His ways are so far above our ways that TRUSTING IN HIM is The Only solution to all of our battles and problems. God not only sees the invisible battlefield He Created IT and EVERYTHING IN AND ON IT! God had already foreseen the insurrection and rebellion and being the LIVING and LOVING GOD that He Is Planned the Victory and Solution Before the Beginning of Time and Before Creation ITSELF! Jesus is the Lamb Slain BEFORE the Foundations were ever laid and it's by His Blood We Can Have Atonement and Reconciliation! Don't lose the war just to win a few battles... Surrender Now While The Option Is Still On The Table!
THIS IS WAR and GOD HEARS OUR WAR CRY! Cry Out To Him and Seek Him While He MAY STILL BE FOUND! You were once lost or maybe still are... but it's not too late to come back or come at all! God Loves You Just As You ARE! Jesus Loves You Enough to Die FOR YOU while you are Dead in Sin! I Love You Enough To Tell You that Unless You Are Born Again... YOU WILL NOT SEE THE KINGDOM OF GOD! Repent and Believe Jesus Died, Was Buried, and Rose AGAIN!
REPENT I TELL YOU BECAUSE THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND!
Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
