Get ready for a plethora of perfectly executed key changes and some gorgous harmonies!!
As promised, here is PART II of our salute to @DionneWarwickOfficial! Funny enough, it wasn't until I brought the song to the chorus that I discovered that it was originally performed by Ms. Warwick. It's actually the duet version by Sergio Mendez (who sadly recently passed this past September) that I used to listen to over and over during MY fifth grade year of elementary school. I even remember going to my friend Heidi's house and figuring out the harmonies and singing the song together. Well, with all that considered in addition to some relevant and meaningful lyrics, the song made for a great send off for the chorus at the closing of the school year!
But never fear, the PS22 Chorus of 2025 isn't done yet.... In addition to this masterpiece of a pop song, we've got some of our best work from this year's kids waiting to be shared!! Stay tuned!!!
