Recently I've been testing out the UDPBD Server tool on Windows 11 (also works in Linux and MacOS) which is a custom network protocol that should have better performance for PS2 games instead of using the SMB method.
I personally love this solution since it is less hassle and easier to setup initially when compared to SMB.
If not obvious, you need a way to run the custom build of OPL and then if you want to do the USB method, put your DVD ISO games into the "DVD" folder or the bin/cue files in the "CD" folder.
Some tips if you have issues getting this to work on your end:
1) Disable firewall or allow the server through the firewall.
2) Check your Ethernet cable to ensure you have connection either to your PS2 or router.
3) If doing direct connect to PS2, set a static ip address on PC within the 192.168.1.X network.
If router method, then enable DHCP and make sure the router is assigning ip addresses within the 192.168.1.X network.

If your PS2 is running UlaunchELF, did you know you can setup a static IP address to it so you can easily transfer files to it?
Yes, actually you can and its pretty cool. I use FlashFXP so I can transfer cover art files and .elf files to the PS2 back and forth without the hassle of using USB. I love it and Im sure you will too. Enjoy!
Note: This assumes you have a softmodded or modchip PS2 that can run UlaunchELF. If you do not, then this tutorial will not help you, sorry!

This is part 1 of a 2 part series where I will show you how to use Popstarter with the Fat PS2 using FMCB to use Ulaunchelf to access the necessary .ELF files. Part 1 will show you how to :
1) Rip PS1 games
2) Convert PS1 games
3) Where to get Popstarter files
4) How to format and prepare your PS2 internal hard drive
5) Replace your default BOOT.ELF file with the Popstarter version
In Part 2 video tutorial, I will show you how to transfer your PS1 games to the Fat PS2 hard drive using pfsshell and also how to run the PS1 games from the PS2 using ulaunchelf. Enjoy!

Todays tutorial is from a youtube subscriber request and Ill show you how to FTP connect to your CFW PS3 without using a router. All we will be using is an Ethernet cable that goes from the computer/laptop into the back of the PS3.
This method is useful for those instances where your PS3 isnt connected to a router or switch, yet you want the fast network transfer speeds. Copying files to the PS3 over a wired connection is so much better than using wireless or USB! Enjoy!
Notes:
1) Make sure to install rebug toolbox and enable webman mod from rebug toolbox.
2) Alternative is run rebug toolbox and sit there and then connect to ps3 via ftp.
