Today's tutorial is from a youtube subscriber request and I'll show you how to FTP connect to your CFW PS3 without using a router. All we will be using is an Ethernet cable that goes from the computer/laptop into the back of the PS3.

This method is useful for those instances where your PS3 isn't connected to a router or switch, yet you want the fast network transfer speeds. Copying files to the PS3 over a wired connection is so much better than using wireless or USB! Enjoy!

Notes:
1) Make sure to install rebug toolbox and enable webman mod from rebug toolbox.
2) Alternative is run rebug toolbox and sit there and then connect to ps3 via ftp.
