In today's tutorial, I quickly show you my setup of how I used a raspberry pi 5 (although older versions will work fine too) with a PS2. In my case, I am doing a direct Ethernet connection between both devices, but no reason why you couldn't use an Ethernet switch or router (for more advanced users).
This is simple way to play PS2 games over the network and not get bogged down with SMB network details. You could also replace the PI 5 with a linux machine and be able to do the same. Enjoy!

![AUKEY KM-G9 87-Key Budget Mechanical Keyboard Unboxing!
Hey guys, this past Labor Day weekend I had ordered the AUKEY KM-G9 87-key mechnical keyboard and this keyboard is pretty sweet for the price! If you are in the market for a new mechanical keyboard that is at the same price range as a regular membrane keyboard, then consider the AUKEY series a try. Enjoy!
Other quick notes:
1) Good if you are looking for smaller footprint and no frills.
Since this is on lower end of price range, it doesnt have the following:
No backlighting
No numpad
No USB
No macro keys
Evaluate what your needs are and then decide accordingly. :)

![Lets Try TonyHax - PS1 Softmod Exploit (2021)
Todays video is a quick showcase of me running TonyHax on my PS1 (NTSC), so you have an idea of how everything works.
In order to get the exploit onto my PS1 memory card, I used my modded PS2 and ULaunchELF to transfer the save game exploit to my PS1 memory card. If interested in how to do this, let me know and I can make a follow up tutorial.
If you are in the USA and you are interested in purchasing a ps1 memory card pre-loaded with TonyHax, you can email me at vstpower @ gmail dot com and I will review your inquiry. Thanks and enjoy!

With the upcoming release of Halo 2 Anniversary edition on Halo MCC PC on May 12th, I thought Id revisit Halo 2 Vista redone on PC using Project Cartographer and see how everything is.
Ive tested it on Windows 10 64-bit, and I love how it has custom server browser. If you got an itch to play Halo 2 online, and maybe not the MCC version, give this a try!

![Testing UDPBD Server Using Linux Mint in VirtualBox and PS2 (2023)
Todays video I showcase how I got UDPBD server linux version working under Linux Mint using VirtualBox. This way I could run Linux within Windows 11 and not have to install a separate operating system on my computer.
I do apologize in advance when you see the ps2 video that the audio is choppy. This is a side effect of my audio editing software and Im still working out the bugs. In reality, the ps2 audio is flawless using the method. Enjoy!
Errata: I may have said Mint OS in the video, when I really meant to say Linux Mint. Well, you guys probably got the idea!

![[Proof of Concept] Popstarter on Fat PS2 Internal Hard Drive Test [2016]
Todays video is a quick proof of concept to show you that popstarter on internal hard drive of the fat PS2 does work, and when it works, it works well!
The final tutorial Im still figuring out best way to do it. There is a lot of stuff to cover, and Im debating to make one long video (easily 15+ minutes) or make smaller parts. Well see what happens.
I dont know everything there is about popstarter, but I know enough now to get the basics covered.
In the meantime, I hope this video gives you some hope and interest in PS2 gaming!
Misc Notes and Corrections:
1) Popstarter does support virtual memory cards. I was mistaken in the video.

![Share OPL PS2 Games Using SMB Ethernet and Windows 8.1 Tutorial (2020)
A viewer had asked awhile back to make a Windows 8.1 SMB sharing tutorial for the PS2 and OPL. I actually went back into my archives, found my Windows 8.1 disc, installed it fresh with all latest updates, connected an Ethernet cable between PC and PS2, did what I did in this video tutorial, and I got it working first time.
I dont understand why people continue to have networking issues in general, so my hope is this video gives some insight and fixes your issues too if you are on Windows 8.1. Happy Gaming!

![New PS3 Exploit - HFW (Hybrid Firmware) 4.84.1 HAN - All Models
This is not a tutorial video, but a quick news update on a big PS3 development just released today (3/21). In summary, there is a method now to bring back PS3Xploit functionality on 4.84 OFW, using what is called Hybrid Firmware.
This can be installed on all PS3 models (including 3K and 4K series), and you will be able to re-do the HAN exploit for the 3K/4K series. For 25xx series (Dec. 2010 and lower) and older PS3 units, the NAND/NOR writer from PS3Xploitv3 will be updated soon for those consoles too!
If you recently updated to 4.83 or 4.84 OFW, then soon you will be able to jailbreak your PS3 and have a lot of good times!
Note: CFW doesnt exist for 3K or 4K models, so that will be just as it was back in 4.82 days.
For more details, see the psx-place.com forum for latest details.
When the tools for the webhost exploit is released, I will be re-reviewing that process and make a follow up video. Enjoy!

![Codebreaker, OPL, and USB Black Loading Screen Fix (2020)
In a previous video tutorial, Ive demonstrated how to use Codebreaker 10 with OPL and USB to apply cheats to your USB games. Todays tutorial is similar, except this time we will address the black loading screen that many gamers have experienced and have lost sleep over.
The short answer: Remove your USB after your started codebreaker. Select your cheats, start game, plug the USB back in, and boot game via OPL.
See the video for further details, and enjoy!
April 5th update: I updated the .zip file to v1. The two file names inside the BOOT folder should be CB_launch.elf and CODEBREAKER10.ELF. Yes, it is lowercase .elf for the CB_launch. This way when codebreaker has finished executing, it should properly autoload OPL now.
You can put both files into the BOOT folder on your memory card if you have space, or just put the CB_launch.elf only into the memory card.
After you load codebreaker and start game, it will autoload OPL from memory card. Just make sure to remove the USB if you see black screen upon launching codebreaker.

![[How To] Install PS2 Games to USB for OPL 0.9.3 Simple Tutorial (2017)
Todays video will help anyone who is new to using OPL 0.9.3 and want to know what is the easiest and simplest way to get their PS2 games working on USB hard drives (or flash drives) so they can start playing now and stop troubleshooting.
The summary is as follows:
1) Format usb drive as fat32, primary and active partition.
2) Put your ISO games in a DVD folder (or CD folder) depending on file size (less than 4.3GB for DVD, 700MB or less for CD)
3) If you have ISO file larger than 4.3GB, then use USBUtil V2.0 or USBExtreme to split the games and save them to the root of your usb drive.
Enjoy!

![Playing PS2 Games With OPL and PS3/PS4 Controllers Over Bluetooth [Proof of Concept]
In todays proof of concept video, I am using the latest OPL Daily Build (as of 5/23/18) and using FMCB to boot the OPL program, I can configure any game to use a PS3 or PS4 controller to play with a USB cable, or over Bluetooth with a USB dongle that supports EDR technology.
It is pretty cool. The analog sticks do work, and so does the digital DPAD. If you are a PS2 gamer and you dream of playing wirelessly with first party controllers, now is your time to shine! Enjoy and full tutorial coming in the near future.
