I took an image of GTA 3, replaced most of the music files with music files of a similar size from VIce City, then burned the image on to a disk and this is the result. Despite some imperfections, it stillI worked better than I thought it would. ^_^
Below is a list of the "swaps". Before you go on to look at them, see if you can guess what "music" from Vice City each track from GTA 3 has been replaced with.
Double Cleff - Taxi
Head Radio - Riot (from first Avery Carrington mission)
KJah -Espantoso
Rise - Wave 103 (This one doesn't work)
Lips - Flash FM
MSX - North Point Mall
Flashback - City (just regular background noise)
Game - Police Radio
Poilce - Pole Position
Water/docks - Malibu
City (normal background noise) - Ocean View Hotel
Chatterbox - VRock? Love FIst concert? I can't remember...
Game (Police radio) has gone all chipmunks and Chatterbox (Love Fist) plays very slowly. In addition, Rise FM (Wave 103) doesn't play at all, stops all other music from playing and crashes the game when you pause it. Other than that, all the other swaps seem to have worked just fine. Still, the speed of loading textures seems to have taken a knock.
I chopped out most of the loading, but left some in to try to keep the footage looking authentic.

![[Old] N64 Pro: New Years Revolution promotional Tape (Part 1 of 2)
Update:
You can see the full video in not-quite-as-bad quality here: https://youtu.be/PC_7f72dNmo
Original Description:
Part 1 of 2
This tape came free with an issue of N64 Pro, a Nintendo 64 magazine from the UK, although Im not sure which one. It seems the tape was made in (late) 1998 and covered games due to be released in 1999. Infogrames United Kingdom have put their name all over it. Id imagine they played a large part in putting the tape together, perhapes sponsoring it. The tape lasts about 13 minuites.
Youll probably notice that many games featured on the video arent available on the Nintendo 64, which is a bit strange. Even the Playstation, the Nintendo 64s competitor gets some coverage. Youll also probably notice that several clips are repeated. It seems this tape wasnt very well put together.
The structure of the tape goes something like this:
- Opening/introduction
- Warner Bros. section
- System Crash section
- Wargasm section - the box says previously top secret N64 version of Wargasm
- Credits
Part 1 of this video begins with a 20 secondish slide show showing the VHS itself and its cover. It then goes on to show the Opening and Warner Bros. section.
Part 2 of this video shows the rest of the tape: the System Crash section, the Wargasm section and the credits. [Old] N64 Pro: New Years Revolution promotional Tape (Part 1 of 2)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/4uT4YsE3Zf0/mqdefault.jpg)
