When it comes to proving the papacy from the Bible the go-to verse is Matthew 16:18 where Jesus tells Peter that he is Peter and on this rick he will build his Church. But who is he rock Jesus is talking about? Is Peter the rock? Is Peter's confession of faith the rock? Is Jesus himself the rock? The truth is that it is not possible to "prove" the papacy from one single verse in the Bible. Papacy can be "proved" from the Bible as a cumulative set of evidence. And Matthew 16:18 is not even the most important pieces of evidence! In this video I will show how papacy can be "proved" from Scripture in two simple moves, without even mentioning Matthew 16:18.
