Also... is this really a Miraculous AMV of mine that DOESN'T envolve shipping?? That's a first...
In case you don't know, this song was going to be in the original "Aladdin" Disney movie, but it was scrapped when they decided not to keep the character of Aladdin's Mother. It was inluded in the Broadway version of Aladdin, but this one is the version recorded in the 90's by Clay Aiken.
For me to explain to you this video, you guys need to know my headcanon for Adrien, so, here it is:
"As a young kid, Adrien was kind of a rebel. Mischievious, poorly behaved, he rarely ever listened to his parents and, because of his economic position, he was often selfish and materialistic. But his mother's great kindness and compassion reminded him that there is more to life than wealth and things. She always encouraged him to do well for others.
When Mrs. Agreste dissapeared, it wasn't just Gabriel who changed, Adrien did too. He remembered her advices every single day, and he regreted greatly not always following them. As his father grew colder and darker, Adrien grew kinder and more hopeful that he could one day do something to prove to her lost mother how much she meant for him, and that he now understood what she used to tell him. That's why he accepted to become a superhero the moment he had the chance. Because, aside from being able to escape from the overprotection of his father and live his own life, he could also do the good that her mother had always wanted him to do.
He could make her proud of her boy."
