Students, faculty and alumni, including actor Sam Waterston, launched "Democratize Yale," a new campaign protesting the university's settlement negotiations with the Trump administration.

Yale is one of the many institutions in settlement talks with the federal government in President Trump’s second term, as the Ivy League institution faces accusations from the U.S. Department of Justice of illegally discriminating against white and Asian applicants at its medical, law and undergraduate schools.
