Note: A correction to this video. I incorrectly stated that Jorn Trommelen works in Stu Phillip's lab. Instead he works in Luc Van Loon's lab. Not that this changes him being wrong.
Last year I wrote an article talking about protein requirements for athletes and why I think that setting them relative to only muscle protein synthesis rates is myopic and wrong.
Today I want to look at a recent study that adds to my argument as it shows that basal protein synthesis rates of other connective tissues (ligaments, tendons, etc.) is IDENTICAL to that of muscle. You can't simply ignore those.
Finally I make sure to take a potshot at butthurt little baby Jorn Trommelen who was so traumatized by my article that he had to write a rebuttal in the AARR. Too bad he's still wrong.
