Well the video is up on the AMV Roulette channel already -shrug-.

I had a real love hate relationship with this GMV. On the one hand I detested how it was turning out, but on the other there are some bits I really liked. I struggled a lot and replaced scenes a few times. But it was rewarding because I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome, and I'm happy with it. Hopefully I'll get some good feedback from the judges. Yeah, so this round of AMV roulette had the following requirements:

10 seconds of cape
Pop music
Action

Naturally, FF and Kingsglaive have a lot of cape because royalty = cape. Also, Action video, and that is naturally Final Fantasy action scenes right?

So this was born.

STORY:
The story's focus is on three main characters, King Regis (old man with cape), Nyx (king's guard general) and Noctis (the prince). King Regis and Noctis are in the middle of a war, while Noctis is sheltered away. Later on, after the death of Regis and Nyx's fight with General Glaucer (the armored thing) Noctis realises he has to step up and fight. Thus the second half's focus is that, and he becomes a "warrior" so to speak.
