Beginners are some times taught a double move, linked at the wrists, with a karate low block and high guard hand being called a Bong Sau and Wu Sau. Once a Wing Chun School has a few chi sau trained students this drill is not required, as chi sau has better methods, but beginners still need a drill, FMA also does this ckin of block drill, the "bong" being a sword instead.
